T-hinge
Iron
T hinges have been in popular use since the seventeenth century, generally on
simple ledged plank-doors. Our T-hinges are faithful copies of originals,
meticulously made to a consistently high standard.
Five sizes are available having either a penny-end or arrow-head end. Hinges are
priced per pair and are supplied with *rose-headed fixing nails which were
traditionally driven through the door and clenched over.
*Dome-headed screws can be supplied if preferred.

Strap hinges are of a particularly ancient and robust design. They are
commonly used on heavy doors such as those made from oak or elm.
Two sizes are available and a choice of three pin types; pins to drive,
pins to screw and pins on plates. Strap hinges are priced per pair and are
supplied with roseheaded fixing nails which were traditionally driven
through the door and clenched over.

H hinges and H-L hinges were commonly used on panelled
doors from the Georgian era onwards. The larger sizes shown below are
suitable for full sized doors whilst the smallest size is suitable for
cupboard doors.
